Baltimore Birth and Bodywork
I have been practicing massage, yoga and childbirth related services for over 25 years. As I discovered, we can live in our our bodies with more comfort and joy. We can like and learn to love our bodies even when we are dealing with chronic pain, illness or other health related issues. We can decrease pain and live in supportive peace with our bodies by allowing the practices of meditation, yoga and other movement practices and most importantly, our breath, to lay the foundation for our physical and mental health and well being. I like to think the heart of what I'm trying to do is help people find a sense of embodiment. An understanding of living in a body. Not an intellectual understanding but one which is felt. A connection to our sense of self. This is a path of awareness which views the body as the doorway, not the obstacle, to personal growth and transformation. The embodied state has been described as "like coming home at last." I want everyone to feel when they are in their body, they are home. Thank you for letting me serve and guide you on your healing, birth and wellness journey.
